finally, i met up with the folks - steph, steffi, ernest, josh, yang, shar and friends at the musical 'Love Above All' about Jim Elliot on his mission to Eucador with his friends and wifey. It tells about him dying by the spear but yet without fear, being obedient to his calling. What amused me the most was the one of the songs that made the villagers sound really bimbotic. wearing clothes = putting on more skin; washing utensils = drowning her pots by the river. it's life so simple to the really basic of food, water and shelter.

so how can our lifestyle merge with how they live? urmm...

did my hair at amara hotel, and my shirt got wet while my hair got washed. amazing isn't it. i have utterly no comments.
then i had lunch at mac to satisfy my long 20pieces mac nuggets cravings. wooooot!
pleasure and contentment. heeex.
my boss was like in total shocked that i actually ordered 20pieced nuggets that she let out a loud "what?!" and ended up in total amazement when i finished up every piece of it and took a photo. hahaha.

my collegues are a cool bunch, i love the working environment. been learning alot of ropes, opening my eyes to what the world is like in reality. in essence, the world is a harsh place. i'm so glad to be where i am today. thank you, Lord.

if ever you're feeling blue, close your eyes and count to ten. everything will be wonderful now. nanananana.. even with tears in my eyes, i will say everything is wonderful.

monday night was sambal everything at 85 and durians at geylang.
all sizes were present, large, medium, regular, small and xtra small.

tuesday night was pitstop with ern, steffi, josh and huang. we played some management card game which i tot was a bit lame and a ticket to rideee. everyone came from work except for huang who came from a massive jam. it's a different sight totally, comparing it from my fun fun relax-one-corner-and-play-guitar-sing-song in perth to powersuits in raffles place. it shows we have all grown up.

wednesday night was grocery shopping and a visit to the scariest doctor night.

i caught 5 tiger prawns from prawning with the guys on saturday night. it was fun. yes, i know the shuffling of chairs, the screams and the jumps made it all worthwhile, then we had cheese naan and super duper sugared 'tisu' prata. haha. eddie, east side. east side. suddenly you'll see that east is best.
yay, cass babe! i'm glad u enjoyed urself! i bet u'll so gonna miss us. but no worries, i'll be seeing you in sept! cause cause.. i've graduatedddd. wooot!

i'm totally sunkissed, almost burnt. we played cards with vodlka + seawater + 7up as forfeit. heh. then we played a few sets of volleyball and touch rugby and went people watching at sentosa. the only same thing about the place is the queue. the bathroom queue is masssssive. being fourth in line, it took me an hour before i finally got into the bath! gosh.. that was longggggg, and especially longgggg since i was rushing to have sushi and drink teh. haha.

just yesterday, there goes another surprise birthday celebration from unleavened bread. we had cakes, buns, snacks, candies. everyone wore a smile on their faces, it's was a reuniting day for all. then after was dim sum dollies, i never knew the theme was the history about singapore but it's still hilarious even tho it was quite patriotic. everyone present was given a singapore flag to wave and sing along to the singapore tunes. i loveeee their singing, and the different accent for the different characters they played. it's fantastic. anyway, for you people asking me, dim sum dollies are called that cause they love dimsum and they are like dimsum. dim sum comes in threes. selena is the 'dabao', the other is the egg tart cause flaky, soft and smooth, and the other one is the xiao long bao, juicy.

then we had coffeeee at tcc with the babes. it's been such a longggg time since we had that. i missed that. the shalom of four.

woot, the thing i most like about family weddings is the getting together and enjoy a sumptous meal together with cousins on the same table. this time the wedding was quite unusual cause the jingcha ceremony was during the dinner. yeah. weddings are bliss except for some, and for mine, it will be grand and defintely filled with alot of pure love, and it will be one for us to enjoy! no chingcai, no rush, no wedding planner needed cause i think i got it all settled. haha.

anyways, it's a beautiful day, simply cause He made it. i know my thoughts are quite sporadic but the point is, i had a great weekend, with sunfilled activites.

unfortunately, it was quite high, the going up part is almost scary.
but the view from the top almost caught our breath away. finally we managed to get carried away by the wind, off the hot cemeted ground.

the surprise we prepared, that got us surprised instead.

it was a fun day that took all the blues away. as much as the day started out rushing from place to place. seriously from eunos to ang mo kio to nus to sembawang to bedok to parkway to harbourfront.

i was... tired.
then the waiting and finding and waiting at sentosa to surprise the commies with my homecoming. eddie came up to me with a cake and all of them started singing happy birthday. for that bizzarre moment.... what in the world was happening.. HUH???

i tot i was supposed to surprise them but they end up surprising me. it was hilarious yet sweet yet almost unbelievable. we had a cake!
then we queue a massive long caterpillar line to finally sit the swing up and luge down. the long wait was quite worthwhile, the luge is super fun! it really makes me go wheeeeeee!

i would love to ride it again, but the wait under the sun is kinda urm.. not v exciting. then we had dinner at carl's jr. yay! then transformers. the show is goood! i love it, can't wait for transformers 2. kok, better sit beside me and explain to me k.

then we had supper at hk cafe. i really enjoyed myself, managed to cover so much in one day, upon my return to singapore. it feels the same yet different, but most importantly, i'm happy. so it's good. =)
