my problem is not so much that God doesn't give us what i hope for as it is that i don't know the right thing for which i hope. i think this might be what i want to do [since i've an interest], and i hope for it, but i'm not sure if it's good for me [what if i'm not capable of doing it.. what if?], if only i could see the big picture or like see the consequences of choosing this path., and then be able to compare with the others to see what's the best.
But the funny thing is, God already done the research, all i needed to do was to trust and obey. trusting in His goodness. that's easy and hard.
Hope is not a granted wish.. [but] a zany, unpredictable dependence on a God who loves to surprise us out of our socks and be there in the flesh to see our reaction. -God came near

Why are there so many songs about rainbows And what's on the other side? Rainbows are visions, but only illusions, And rainbows have nothing to hide. So we've been told and some choose to believe it I know they're wrong, wait and see. Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection, The lovers, the dreamers and me.

i think i've forgotten how to enjoy myself. i think i've forgotten what it is to enjoy myself. esp after watching the above video. i wanna go back to where that it. i think i've built a wall around me subconsciously. no wonder its getting harder to breathe. i'm losing the smile and the grin. i'm missing perth esp after i found my solitude bay. the sun, the sand, the waters, the peace, the fun, the warmth of hearts. i think this wall is pretty hard to break down, but i'm willing to break it downeven tho it's gonna hurt. Will you help me with it? there's no need to hesitate no more.
don't take me away from this place called home, but give me the courage to face it.

did you know that vodka has other weird uses besides just being a social lubricant?
1. Prevent poison ivy rash Immediately pour/rub vodka over the area contacted with poison ivy. the vodka washes away urushiol oil, and no uncomfortable reaction (i.e. rash) will appear. With global warming, poison ivys are increasing. good to have a bottle around.
2. Clean clothes that smell fresher Spritz your clothes with vodka then hang to dry. Vodka kills odor-causing bacteria, without leaving a scent. For lazy/don't like to wash clothes people.
3. Shine porcelain, chrome, glass fixtures Moisten a soft, clean cloth with vodka & apply a little elbow grease to shine.
4. Preserve flowers Add a few drop of vodka and a teaspoon of sugar to the water in flower vase. Change daily.
5. Kill pesky insects Squirt the insects with vodka, or squirt on self as repellent.
6. For beautiful hair Add vodka into a shampoo bottle and mix. It works better than a shampoo & conditioner.
7. Cures stingray's sting works same way as point 1.

happy moment of the week@5/05/2008 08:37:00 PM
whoooopeee! it's a happy monday. I mindfully wear something other than blue to work on a monday. It helps to brighten the mood.
i did my hair. violet and red in colour. got a trim, but the trim became a nightmare. my hairs like short again. rawr, i wanted to keep it long. oh wells. but the colour turned out pretty nice. the best part of it, it's cheap! cut, highlight, treatment by loreal. heh. ask me if you wanna know.
last tuesday was ben&jerry's free cone day, and i was helping out at United Square. man, it was packed, the line never stop. some customers went rounds and rounds of queueing for their like possibly fifth cone, that i could recognise them already.
bugis is becoming my new hang-out. i can never walk enough of bugis street, the numerous stalls always makes me confused whether i've walked that path. anyway, the peeps meet up for teppanyaki one evening, and i had yummy sukiyaki. fantastic! then we went over to nydc for dessert with our special guest: ELMO! somehow the kids menu can only be ordered by kids, no excuse even if you have a small appetite.
i did my first cycling trip w kevin using the park connectors from my house to ecp! whooopee. it was really fun! i really don't like the bridges, have to get off to push the bike across. that's a real dread.
i ate cheese naan with butter chicken from alameeen eating house. heh. love it!
i watched p.s. i love you with al on the itouch!
i had a fabtabulous time at bugis again, went haji lane and found some really cool stuff. had really yummy black pepper crayfish and excellent company. i the proud owner of an emerald ring. happy!
i finished the glow-in-the-dark winnie the pooh & friends jigsaw that al gave me!
i've got a pooh ballooony from al!!!
i really glad jess enjoyed herself at basic life.
my brother's coming home soooon! can't wait!

welcome
As i sit here and think about all that You've done
About how You gave me Your One and only Son
And I'm trying to fathom all that You are, but so far,
Lord, You're so beyond me
And i fall down in reverence and i fall down in fear
And i'm asking You, Lord, won't You please draw near
Won't You open my eyes so that i can see
The way that You are working in me
chorus: All i need is Your love
To come and fill this heart of mine
My heart is a desert that has gone dry
And i need Your love to carry me by
So i lay down my life and i put it before You
All i put all that i have in Your hands
And i'm not going to question, why You're so faithful
Why that You give me the blessing that You do
Let the glory be known, let the glory be shown
Lift You up unto the throne
