This week was quite refreshing.

ps dan spoke on wed about speaking to the mountains, and my take home was we are what we speak. so speak good words about yourself, ladies! we are gorgeous, no matter what other people say! =) we are made to be kings and priests. Kings command things for himself, while priests are compassionate and prays for other people.

i decided to put it to test. on thursday while going to serena's place, i took the extended walk pass some ulu houses and there was a fierce cat that like meowed fiercely and looks fierce. And i totally do not like cats much less a fierce looking one that is coming towards me for my longjohnsilver's dinner or whatever. i commanded it to get out of my sight and not come near me, and it immediately changed directions. woohoo! it felt strangely awesome.

on friday, i commanded the bus to come soon and have a space for me in it. (i was late on thurs for work cuz it took like 40mins to get from the busstop to eunos station la, anyways, most of the time, it's trying to squeeze in the already crowded bus). The first bus came by, i couldn't get on it, it was full. Then i said to myself, "something better is coming up". And guess what, a new (digital signs with the gongxifacai) bus came a couple of minutes after and i didn't have to squeeze my way and i got a seat! =)

finally, the basic instructions before leaving earth is speaking righty out loud in my entire being allowing me to live an abundance life that has all along been available, and i finally grasp it! it's wonderful and amazing! use the empowerment that He has given you, cuz just like me, you wanna be a superhero girl!

on a lighter note, i had a pineapple tart (more like pineapple cake) from freshly baked at killiney road, it's amazingly good but it's like $2 for a piece! it's a full load of butter in it, really fattening but it's yummy to the max!

met simoney and ernest for supper at hk cafe and cheesecake cafe last sunday. cheesecake's cheesecake is not that fantastic la. simone's lime cheesecake taste way much better, and my mum's oreo cheesecake is much better too. just two thumbs up for their branding hoohas. but for their dark chocolate banana, that was heavenly. =)

had dinner at foster's with al at holland village, yummy food, great ambience with live jazz singer singing the oldies from the beatles. Came across this great chill out place, 2am dessert but sadly, if we had more to eat, we will be happy but uncomfortable. so that's gonna be my next chill out!

whooop!
it's been a long week, but a fulfilling one indeed! =)

it started with a trip to chinatown to get a customized cheongsum done, which didn't happen cause serena & i got distracted. We spree-ed by all the nice goodies they have there. korean bbq cuttlefish, japanese honey cuttlefish which we were addicted to, steaming hot yummy indonesian bamboo cake (super sweet), candy shanzha on a stick, sugared honey in a pattern of an animal. it was awesome catching up that we did! =)

on tuesday, had dinner with al =) at centrepoint's ichiban boshi. started out as an awesome spread of dinner but there were bones in their sashimi and their unagi don of which left me extremely uncomfortable and ended up puking right after. =(

wednesday's ice cream day!
i had my ben& jerry's the bar. it's on the sweet side, chocolate coated at the top, filled with vanilla ice cream and massive cookie dough and a brownie at the bottom. Superly overdosed with calories! =)

i found a new love.. karen millen's dresses. =)

met nedlands for dinner at food republic! ophe and i arrived a tad too early and ended up waiting for a couple of hours. while waiting, our stomachs growled, and the dim sum lady on a push cart came by, and i ordered 1 basket of hawgao and some other round thing she introduced and i ended up paying $8 for it. =( it was not steaming hot, nor warm for that matter,
and tasted not as fantastic as al said it would. Nonetheless, i had my awesome hokkein mee & cha kway tiao which we all shared. it's awesome fellowship! did i mention that no matter how hard we try not to, we always end up talking about toiletbowls & pangsai during our meals la. how gross right, i know! =)

about the unagi bone, the peircing pain came back again and i went to the GP and he couldn't take it out and forwarded it to the A&E. i did the most uncomfortable scope ever =( and xrays and the ENT said it's a scratch in my throat. a scratch on the outside is less painful than one on the inside man! but thank God the bone like disappeared.
ended up arriving at the office later than ever, but thank God for understanding bosses. =)
met alecia in town after work to walk to the mrt station. haha =)
in the evening, had cell at serena's. She, terence, louis all had their rooms done so differently. i should have taken a picture of it. it's like museum la. haha. anyway, it was encouraging that everyone came for cell despite all the travelling. =)

friday is ice cream day!
i had ben& jerry's cherry gracia this time.
met al! =)
met shalom for their retreat at aloha loyang. super ulu-ness. superly fun! =)
bryan brought on a transversite grand tour. hahaha.

work is challenging but fun! I thank God.

grossed out.

i found out something new when i vomited out my dinner.

i haven't been chewing.

i have been swallowing down all the food, leaving them in huge chunks as it rushed out of my throat and outta my mouth.

i'm swearing off all fried/BBQ-ed/spicy food, chocolates and peanuts.

No more for the weak. What a painful experience.

For those who have yet to know, I'm suffering from IBS, which causes the current lower backaches, chest pains, difficulty in breathing, bloatedness, throat infection, burps.
But nonetheless, i'll be healed by Jehovah Rophe.
